Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data FloorDesignAI (floordesignai.com, operated by Abhishek Gupta, Gurugram, Haryana, India) collects, why, and your rights, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We don't sell your personal data.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares (name, email, profile picture). We don't get your Google password.
- Your plan requirements: plot size, rooms and options you enter, and the plans generated from them.
- Credits and payments: your credit balance and history, and for purchases the order and payment IDs, amount and status from our payment partner. We never receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank details.
- Technical data: your approximate country (from your browser's language or our network provider), and server logs (such as IP address, browser type and errors) used for security and to fix problems.
Why we use it
- To provide the service: sign you in, generate and store your plans, and keep track of credits.
- To process payments and handle refunds.
- To prevent abuse, for example giving the free credit only once per person (we keep a one-way hash of your normalised email address for this, also after an account is deleted).
- To send emails you need, such as sign-in codes. We don't send marketing emails without your consent.
- To fix problems and improve the service.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We use these service providers to run FloorDesignAI:
- Supabase: accounts, database and file storage.
- OpenRouter and the AI model provider it routes to: receive your plan requirements (not your email or name) to generate the image.
- Razorpay: processes payments.
- Google: if you choose Google sign-in.
- GoDaddy: our email provider, sends sign-in codes and support emails.
- Our hosting provider: runs the website.
These service providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in, and your browser's storage to remember your country choice and to keep your form while you sign in. We don't use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and plan data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and plan data within 30 days of your request. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, and the one-way email hash described above is kept to prevent repeat free credits.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to close your account, by emailing support@floordesignai.com. We reply within 2 business days. Deleting your account deletes your plans and credits; unused credits are lost.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, plans are stored privately and shown to you through short-lived links, and access to the database is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
